Custom, Addiction Treatment Programmes
Our Custom, drug and alcohol recovery programmes are designed specifically for each patient and range in duration depending on the diagnosis. Over a Quarter of a Century of Service
Twenty-six years ago, Houghton House Addiction and Mental Health Treatment Centres opened and despite incredibly humble beginnings as a Halfway House, started by Alex Hamlyn, it has grown under Alex and Dan Wolf’s guidance to be one of the most successful, renowned, professional, medically sophisticated group of drug and alcohol addiction treatments centres in South Africa.
When Houghton House first opened its doors, in 1995 it started with a mere three patients, it has since expanded to allow up to inhouse 80 patients spread throughout the primary, secondary, and tertiary drug addiction treatment centres.
When outpatient groups are included, the total number of people in treatment at one time is often in excess of 100.
