Outpatient Treatment

Some individuals are not able to attend a residential treatment program, which requires them to check in and stay on the premises for the full duration of their treatment. Therefore the Houghton House Group conveniently caters for both primary and secondary care. This gives the individuals the opportunity to receive the help even when they are unable to check into the facility full time.

The program mainly focuses on behavioural and lifestyle changes.

The First Step Rehab outpatient program provides and empowers alcoholics and drug addicts with the necessary steps to manage their addictive behavioural patterns and attitude towards life.

The outpatient treatment program is based on the same grounds as the residential program. Essential aspects and components of the full-time program have been selected and combined to provide a condensed version for individuals who seek treatment but cannot book into a primary care facility.

The outpatient treatment program consists of:

  • Individual therapy
  • Educational groups
  • Re-integration assistance
  • Family workshops

Our program is run over six weeks, 5 days a week, from 4:30pm – 7:00pm.
